Caprice, the ultra-successful American/British model has revealed to British press that she’d love to have lots of children – and says her ideal number is 5. Any takers?

Yes, she does have a real estate mogul boyfriend named John Hitchcox – but, says that while marriage isn’t in the cards, she’s keen to start a family. So, there’s still hope for us regular shnooks out there. She proclaims,

‘I’m not the kind of person who needs a piece of paper to validate my relationship, but I’ve always wanted 5 kids. My mom jokes I should wait until I have my first child before making such a decision.’

Sounds like sensible advice.

Especially since the super model has recently admitted to drunk driving. The story is made that much more interesting because the arresting officer had no idea who she was.

She had the ignominious distinction of failing a breath test AND failing to be recognized by the policeman arresting her for drink driving.

When asked to give her name the officer said: ‘Caprice who?’

The 34-year-old allegedly begged the officer, PC Paul Flashman not to arrest her and told him: ‘Do you know what this will do to me? Am I really under arrest?’ Do people really like me get arrested? Hello, Paris?

Appearing at Highbury Magistrates’ Court in London yesterday Caprice Bourret admitted a charge of drink driving. But she claimed it was antibiotics she was taking for cystitis which caused her to be one and a half times over the limit when she was breathalysed in December last year.

Antibiotics? Yes, and when we were passed out in a London pub we told the authorities that we had eaten bad mushrooms. I bet they had the same sympathy as they had on Supermodel Caprice.

Caprice, are you SURE you want to start a family? Really, really sure…?

OK, in the interest of fair and decent reporting, she is also an Ambassador for ChildLine and Chairperson for the Annual ChildLine Ball. With a passion for helping children overcome bullying, abuse and neglect, she has helped ChildLine raise almost £500,000 already and is determined to raise more this year.

She has also helped Great Ormond Street Hospital raise €250,000 last year and aims at helping to raise more during 2007.
